means the Supreme Court of the Colony of Hongkong.

Section 12 of the English Act has not been introduced

into this Ordinance because the provisions of 7 and 8 Vict. cap.

12 are not in force in this Colony.

It was considered desirable to confer power upon the

Governor in Council to make Rules for the purposes of this Ordinance, and section 13 of the Ordinance, which is based upon the language used in section 10 of Ordinance 10 of 1833,

so provides accordingly.
